Serial No. 456531, made in 1889, .45-70, 32 5/8" round proofed barrel. Barrel is a plum patina, Lock plate consist of brown/grey patina. Bore is good with frosting and pitting visible in the grooves. rifling remains strong. Stock has expected nicks and dings with faint cartouche noted. Rear sight is a model 1879 "Buckhorn" and probably replaced the Buffington rear sight in the field. Consignment
