Primitive Eagle head pommel with double punched eyes and faceted edge to the lower beak. This sword comes from the N. Flayderman collection and appears in Mowbray's book, "The American Eagle-Pommel Sword. The early Years-1794-1830" on page 159. Mowbray suspects this sword manufactured in Philadelphia.
