Serial number 49997. Made in 1879. 45 LC caliber with a 5” barrel. This gun has had the barrel shortened from the original 7 ½” length. This gun was also nickel finished of the period. Original this was a cavalry model and throughout the gun you can see original Henry Nettleton inspectors marks. The grips are ivory with Mexican silver work on the base. Along with this gun comes a fantastic Piteado Holster featuring a Mexican eagle. The cartridge belt is carved and unmarked. This is a absolutely fantastic looking rig! (Consignment)
