SN: 445689. Made in 1889. .45-70 with a 32.5" barrel. Bore is excellent with strong rifling. U.S. Model 1884 Springfield Trapdoor. Cartouche on stock is dated 1889. Barrel is in very good condition, has brown patina and retains 80% of original bluing. Beautiful case colors on door. Wood is in excellent condition with a very sharp "P" proof cartouche. Action is crisp and functions properly. Mounted with U.S. stamped bayonet comes in excellent condition with scabbard.
