Very interesting Sand cast Colt shoulder stock for a Colt single Action Army. This is possibly a prototype, or possible just an unfinished example. This stock came out of very famous actor and colt collector Mel Torme’s personal collection. Accompanying this stock is a letter from Colt Vice President Richard McMahon addressed to Mel Torme essentially authenticating the stock as a product of Colt. There is another letter from dealer Steve Englert saying he purchased this stock from Mel Torme and sold it to Colt Collector Nelson Faerber. This stock comes mounted on a framed board.
