Circa 1810-1820, Beautiful Artillery Officers sword in near excellent condition. Checkered bone handle has a tiny chip visible right side. Blade is 30.75" long with beautiful deep blue,etched and strongly gilded foliate and panoply of arms decoration is also present on the blade. Middle foliate is marked "SPIES", brass scabbard is engraved with Foliate and spread winged Eagle with shield. A small dent is noted on the scabbard between the rings.
