Serial number 34260. Made in 1877. 45 LC caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. The metal of this gun has been cleaned and has a light gray patina. Grips are very good with original cartouches still visible. Markings are all sharp. This gun comes with a letter of authentication from noted Colt Single Action expert John Kopec. He says this gun has had some of the markings restamped. Very rare inspector for a Colt cavalry Model!
