Serial number 48243. Made in 1878. 45 LC caliber with a 7 ½”barrel. Very nice sharp gun with an even light brown patina throughout. Grips are very good with nice sharp cartouches. There is one small chip on the right side forward toe. This gun is all original. This gun comes with a letter of authentication from noted Colt Single Action expert John Kopec. He declares it all original and awarded this gun the coveted Silver seal reserved for only the original and finest guns at Mr. Kopec’s discretion.
