NSN, made in 1884, 45-70, 27.8" round proofed barrel. Only 753 of these rifles were manufactured by Springfield Armory. Barrel and receiver are and even smooth patina, left edge of receiver is marked "US-Springfield-1884". Bore is good with some minor frosting in the grooves. Stock shows minor handling wear, handsome cartouche is visible with circle "P". Action functions correctly. (DALLAS LOCATION)
