Previously sold
NSN, circa 1866, .45-70, 32.75" round barrel. Metal is a light grey patina with pin-prick surface oxidation noted. Stock shows nicks, dings and handling wear. Cartouche is visible as is the number "16". Bore is good with frosting noted in the strong rifling. Lock plate is dated 1864, rifle has been cut down into a two-band conversion. Overall good condition.
