Serial number 357273B. Made in 1890. 22 Short caliber with a 24” barrel. This gun is in excellent condition especially for a 22 caliber Winchester 1873. Most of the 22 caliber guns in this model are in very rough shape. The barrel and magazine tube have 80% of the original blue. The frame has approximately 90% of the original blue. The wood is very fine with a coat of varnish added to the forearm. Action is tight and works perfectly. The bore is dark with pitting which is very common since the ammo was so corrosive. Very fine example of a Winchester 1873 22 Caliber!
