.70 Caliber with a 9” barrel. Made circa 1778. This gun was made by British gun maker John Waters who is credited with inventing the spring bayonet. He received the patent in 1778 and was only active till 1781. Very nicely made gun with a mechanically solid Spring Bayonet.
