Stevens Vernier Pocket Rifle (AH5583)

Stevens Vernier Pocket Rifle. .22 Caliber. Barrel length 15”. Bore has fair rifling and fouling in the grooves. The backstrap is drilled for the Vernier sight but it is not present with the pistol. The shoulder stock is factory numbered to the pistol. The barrel has folding rear sight. Barrel is part octagon and part round. Barrel has clear barrel address and has 97-98% blue. The frame and stock have 97-98% original factory nickel. Action works perfectly. This very fine Stevens comes in a professionally made case fitted for the pocket rifle and ammo compartments. Altogether this is a very attractive cased set in very fine condition. Note: The case alone would cost $500.00 to $700.00 to make. It comes with the pocket rifle. Not sold separately.
