.67 caliber 36.50" octagon to round smoothbore barrel trade musket by Wheeler & Son in overall good condition. Musket looks to have been expertly reconverted back to its original flintlock configuration. Metal is a smooth dark brown patina with some surface oxidation noted at the touch hole. Wood is good with some minor storage and handling wear, brass tacks are visible throughout the rifle. Barrel and lock are marked with circle fox and lock is marked Wheeler & Son. Action functions correctly. Good looking Native War of 1812 long arm.
