Polish sabre with blade measuring 31" measured by straight line from blade tip to ricasso. The blade is etched with floral motifs and a winged Hussar on horseback brandishing a sabre. All of the etching is bright and accented by a dark colored background. The motto "Vivat Hussar" is etched into the blade. The grip is covered in black leather with stranded brass wire. The guard has a woven portepee intact around the ricasso and handguard. The winged Hussar on horseback leads us to believe the sabre is Polish. This blade looks really good and shows some age. However in our opinion it is a very well made modern creation. (DALLAS LOCATION)
