This 38 Special Colt Army Special revolver is circa 1913. The 5" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 96% bright Colt blue with light grip stap, muzzle, and cylinder wear. The edges of the hammer are bright blue while the sides are bright. The trigger is blue. The checkered hard rubber grips with COLT in an oval at the top are excellent with no chips or cracks. The action functions correctly with a tight lock up. It's difficult to find a pre-WWI Army Special revolver in top condition like this one.
