This circa 1924 Colt Police Positive 38 revolver is as new in the original numbered box. The 4" barrel has a like new bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains 99+% blue. The bright hammerr and trigger are like new. The checkered hard rubber grips with the oval COLT logo at the top are like new. The action functions correctly in single and double action. The box is vine with one top corner open and very light corner wear. It is lightly numbered on the bottom to this pistol. The end label is marke for the Police Positive Wood Blue Police Cartridge with the Wood crossed out as the grips are hard rubber. This is not unusual for Colt boxes of the era. The inside lid and bottom printed labels are excellent. The included SHOOTING SUGGESTIONS fold out is excellent. You won't be able to improve on this great boxed Colt Police Positive 38 revolver.
