The French MAB Model C pistol was introduced in 1933 and was made into the 1960s. Some of the earier guns such as this one were chambered in 9mm Kurz (380 ACP). Most are found in 7.65mm (32 ACP). The 3.25" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 96% blue. The left side of the slide is marke PISTOLET AUTOMATIWUE MAB BREVETE over MODELE C. The right side of the slide is marked MADE IN FRANCE FOR W.A.C. (Western Arms Company, Los Angeles). The very fine hard rubber checkered grips have the MAB oval logo on each panel.
