Made in 1881. 60 caliber with a 21” barrel. Barrel has been shortened. Barrel is half octagon half round barrel that has been shortened. The lock is marked “Parker Field & Sons/ London” Behind the hammer is the date 1881 and the tombstone fox marking. Wood is very good with the typical serpentine lock plate. Action works perfectly. Very fine Indian trade musket!
