Very rare pistol chambered in .30 carbine with 5" barrel. Manufactured in 1958 and is serial#87, with only 238 being produced. The pistol has 95%-97% of its original blue. with minor pits on the left side of the barrel and right side of the frame. These pistols were beautifully made. They discontinued manufacturing these pistols because the power of the round would cause the the vertical lug that holds the slide to break off and launch the slide rearward. Due to this potential hazard we are selling this pistol as a NON-SHOOTER, or collection pistol. Extremely rare collectors item, but not safe to shoot.
