Lundeen and Roosevelt debated via correspondence about patriotism, free speech, and disagreement in a democracy. This letter addresses a speech Lundeen made and sent to his district voters. Roosevelt infers that Lundeens actions were constitutional, however they made him unfit for office. Multiple handwritten corrections were made to this letter by Roosevelt.
