Lever action rifle. Bore is excellent. Action works perfectly and smoothly. Barrel has a Beech folding front sight and rear barrel sight is a folding two leaf. There is a also a nice adjustable tang sight that should work very well with the Beech front sight. The receiver has approximately 50% fading but visible case colors. Barrel and magazine tube have approximately 97%-98% original blue. Barrel is 26". Receiver has the flat top configuration. Serial number 288414. Marling factory butt plate has a small chip at the toe. Overall a very nice model '97.
