Pommel is marked Honor Prize and is dated 15-11-42 at neck. Cross guard is marked on the top flat "Luftwaffen Angehrg" [Airforce Member]on one wing and "Gepackmarsch Olmutz" [Baggage March Olmutz] (this is the marching song of this particular unit) on other. The ricasso is marked "E.W. Holler Solingen". Leather is a deep blue color with a few light surface scratches on scabbard. Fittings are turning a patina color. Good overall condition. A scarce honor prize blade!
