In stock
NSN, circa 1800-1815, .75 caliber, .39" round smooth bore barrel. The barrel is bright and smooth with light staining. It has two Birmingham proof marks. The lock and cock are bright with very light staining. The lock has the crown over GR in the center. The brass furniture, three pipes, trigger guard, side plate, and butt plate are fine. The stock is very good with added finish and the expected light storage dents and dings. The action functions correctly. The volunteers (also called Yeomanry) were town and regional militia forces raised and equipped by a local Lord, Duke, Viscount, etc.
