U.S. Model 1850 Staff and Field Officers sword. Manufactured by F. Delacour & Bakes. Blade is 31” and is elegantly etched with a panoply of arms, floral motifs and an American eagle. Blade is excellent. Rayskin and wire are excellent. Counter guard has a floral pattern with US in the center. Guard has cypher of Delacour& Bakes. An attractive staff and field officers sword.
