Danzig Arsenal 98 8MM caliber rifle. 1915 production for the German military. The only part not matching number is the hand guard. The bolt body is matching and has been renumbered to match The wood is good with two shrapnel hits, one at the butt plate and one at the lower band. The bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Mostly gray to brown patina finish. No post World War I markings. Good overall condition.
