Colt 1860 Army 4 screw frame revolver. See Colt Book of Firearms by Sutherland & Wilson, page 163. This is a Springfield Armory rework after the Civil War. Guns are all mismatched and marked U.S. on trigger guard and reissued to the 10th Cavalry. Mechanically okay. Gray patina. Scarce variation.
