English Percussion Double Rifle. .577 Caliber. Locks are marked “T. Lawton 90th L.I.” (light infantry). Barrels are 27” long and overall length is 44”. Bore is very good with strong rifling. The locks are scroll engraved and have sliding safeties. Barrel has platinum breech plugs. Barrel has a 3 leaf folding rear sight, leaves marked 1, 2, 3. Patch box shows a running buck with a mountain range in the background. Trigger guard and tangs are engraved. Stock is solid with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Checkering is excellent. Action works perfectly. Fine percussion big bore rifle.
