Winchester 62A .22 Short caliber rifle. Gallery rifle with Red Letter Winchester name. The barrel has the correct triangular loading port on the magazine tube. Bore is excellent, action works perfectly. Note: These guns were used in shooting galleries in carnivals and amusement parks. At night the carnies would take the gun apart to clean them for the next days use. They would reassemble prehaps 10 or 20 guns sometimes without matching the trigger assembly to the frame. This is one of those with mismatched front and back ends. Butt plate is excellent. The gun is about good plus overall. Priced reasonably for a scarce gun.
