French Flobert System Target or parlor pistol. 22 caliber for BB caps or possibly 22 short. (Black powder) Barrel is 4" with a poor bore and overall length is 7 1/2". Frame is floral engraved and barrel is zigzag and punch dot engraved. Grips are super nice Gutta Percha with winged Griffins and relief floral motifs. Grips are excellent with no chips or cracks. Very hard to find those high relief Gutta Percha grips without damage. This gun is better than most Floberts.
